It freaks me out when I see 12 year olds on the internet and I realize how old I must seem to them by making a comparison of how old people born in 1979 seem to me. Then I think about reading in the paper when the class of 1998 graduated and being all "~*WOW THEY ARE SO OLD AND MATURE AND ADULT*~". And think about people born in 1996 doing the same thing when I graduated in 2006.

THE YEARS ARE JUST TICKING ON BY.

The sad part is that once you hit 20, you realize that it really isn't that old. Everyone above you looks at you as young and inexperienced, therefore you aren't taken super seriously, while everyone below you looks at you like you're a big, bad adult. I don't know which label I like better. I kinda want to just go back to being a child, where the general consensus was that you are young and inexperienced. Less pressure and less worrying about what expectations you need to live up to, and which you can ignore because you are "young and experienced."

Anyway.

I have found myself watching things with Joo Jihoon in them over the past couple of days. Antique Bakery. The Naked Kitchen. Now I want to watch 마왕. Such a shame that he had to go and ruin his career (with ecstasy and ketamine, of all things), because he had a good thing going for him. :\

I'm not like a DIEHARD Suju fan or anything (though I do rly like their latest album), but this song and MV? Love it. Just last week I was thinking about how electronic kpop has gotten, and how I'm kind of getting a little tired of the electropop. Then this came out. And I find myself agreeing with the girl on my flist who says "I WISH DBSK WOULD DO STUFF LIKE THIS!" haha. Love Dong Bang, but man. If they could cut out one or two of the sleepier-sounding ballads on their Korean albums and add more catchy, catchy songs a la Shinee and the latest stuff that Super Junior has released, I definitely wouldn't mind.

2009 is definitely a good year for ridiculously catchy crap, s'all I will say, haha.

Now, off to watch Gossip Girl before I go to bed. Have to get up early tomorrow because I'm going to go visit my great grandfather. ♥ :) With being away at school in Vancouver and all of that, I haven't seen him since February, so yuh. I really hope that he's having a good day tomorrow, because it breaks my heart when he is all confused and quiet...
